Indexes
An index is a market, not a token. Each one tracks a basket of items, and the unit is the item, finish and wear. A specific float value or pattern never counts.
| Index | Universe | Items | Cap per item |
|---|---|---|---|
| KNIFE | Every knife type, finish and wear | 25 | 10% |
| RED | Every Covert gun, knives and gloves excluded | 50 | 5% |
| MARKET | Every tradable item, including cases, capsules and stickers | 500 | 2% |
| CASE | Every weapon case | 20 | 10% |
| GLOVE | Every glove type, finish and wear | 15 | 10% |
Eligibility
An item can enter an index only if it meets all of these.
| Rule | Threshold |
|---|---|
| Trailing 30-day volume | at least $10,000 |
| Venues quoting it | at least 3 |
| Tradable for | at least 90 days |
| Pattern- or float-specific listings, sticker crafts | excluded |
Weighting
Items are ranked by trailing 30-day USD volume. Each item's weight is its share of that volume. No item may pass the cap; any excess is spread over the rest in proportion to their volume.
Weights are fixed at each rebalance and drift with price until the next one, so a 10% move in any item moves the index by its weight times 10%, whatever the item costs.
Rebalancing
| Step | When |
|---|---|
| New list and weights published | 7 days before |
| Rebalance takes effect | First Monday of the month, 00:00 UTC |
| Methodology hash posted on-chain | At the rebalance |
The base level is 1,000.0000 at the launch snapshot, three weeks before trading opens. Levels carry four decimals. The current list, weights and hash for each index are on its market page and on Methodology.
